Ambassador Hotel - Xemxija Bay

Loved the stunning view from the room 🌅 and the quiet ambiance! The location near bus stops was a plus. the breakfast could definitely use some variety – just more than a half-boiled egg would be great.

Quiet location and room was air-conditioned. Near to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. Greatly enjoyed its bay views.

Brekfast.... are very desappointing, cold and even burne scramble eggs... melted butter... Problems to pay by credit card....

We had a sweet as view from the balcony, but the breakfast was pretty average with uncooked sausages and burnt eggs. The staff were friendly though!

The upside is certainly a decent price and size of the pool (a lot of hotels in Malta has a larger pool size tub), but with salt water.

At the time stopped in place. The photos in internet date back 20-30 years. Thus, the amendment should be taken that everything is worn out, partly dead, and a lot of equipment (eg sunbeds at the pool, balconies and their equipment) was not cleaned long ago. The rooms see view have the view not only the Gulf but also on the crumbling hovel. In the evenings, the area around the hotel fills up with loud maltese grills etc. So quiet you can not count. Fortunately, air conditioning works (you only get the remote from reception), TV has suddenly 6 channels. Problems with payment by credit card. Close the shop, except that everywhere so far without the car does not make sense to take this hotel

Certainly not up to modern hotel standards, A very limited menu for a restaurant along with very limited hours of being open.I certainly would not recommend friends to stay there.

Fine location, clean, helpful staff, this hotel was really good.

The spectacular view and quiet location was certainly the best feature to this hotel. The staff made my stay very welcome, the room with a view was so lovely and I would not hesitate to go back for another stay.

It's cheap, air conditionig worked well.

Amazing hospitality and perfect location! We were treated like family, and the packed lunch on our last day was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend this gem!

Consider bringing your own food, as options for special diets might be limited, and the breakfast variety is quite simple.

The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Alexander, were really nice. The shuttle service to explore the beautiful island was convenient, and the beach access was a delight! Breakfast offered a nice selection, but could improve in variety.

The internet connection was quite poor, and the furnishings seemed a bit outdated.

The staff were kind and quick to assist me with any queries. I enjoyed the clean swimming pool, which always had free spots available. The sea view from my room was amazing.

The rooms felt dated and could certainly use a refresh. The breakfast options were lackluster and repetitive, leading to some dissatisfaction, and I observed that the pool can get overcrowded with non-residents, dampening the overall experience. If you enjoy a quiet, leisurely meal, you'll want to plan around the loud noises from nearby fishing boats that start up at sunrise.
